Determining the World Champion

The world champion title is only awarded in the most difficult of the three skill classes, the MASTERS CLASS. The categories in the Masters class are also different to those in the Professional and

Novice classes. There are 16 masters categories in which the title 'World Champion' is awarded (see page 7).

As opposed to the other classes, here only the first three places receive gold, silver or bronze. There are no blue, red or yellow ribbons.

To become the 2008 World Taxidermy Champion', or at least to receive a medal, it is necessary to gain a minimum of 90 points. The participant with the largest points score is awarded the title World Taxidermy Champion 2008.

If none of the competitors receive the minimum 90 point the title World Taxidermy Champion 2008 is not awarded for that particular category.
